Trooping the Colour

Ceremony to officially celebrate the monarch's birthday, usually during a Saturday in June. Troops from the Household Division display their colours to The Queen during the ceremony at Horse Guards Parade. The Queen then rides back to Buckingham Palace in a carriage, at the head of her guards.

Windsor Grey

Term given to grey horses that are used by the Royal Family. Only Windsor Greys are allowed to pull carriages which carry The Queen.
